We are pleased to introduce the Pod, a new service from Ready Steady Go that supports autistic young people and adults aged 16 to 24. At the Pod, participants will build the skills they need to live more independently and feel confident in everyday life.
They will have the chance to learn practical skills such as cooking simple, healthy meals, managing money, and handling daily responsibilities such as home skills. Our goal is to provide support and guidance that helps each person become more independent and achieve their potential.
The Pod is designed to provide a welcoming space where participants can connect with others, forge new friendships, and enjoy a supportive environment they truly feel belongs to them. Our aim is to create a setting that not only feels safe and enjoyable but also encourages each individual to take ownership and feel they have their own space.
If you know an autistic young person aged 16–24 who might enjoy attending our weekly sessions, please feel free to share this opportunity with them.
