We are so excited to be part of a pilot in Monmouthshire designed to make libraries more accessible for our children, young people and adults. In partnership with Monmouthshire CC Libraries and Gwent Parent Carer Network, a series of fully accessible sessions will be running once a month in Caldicot and Abergavenny Libraries.
These are designed to encourage our families to use the libraries in a much more accessible and comfortable way. The pilot will run from April to September 2026. We really encourage you to try the sessions out and to provide feedback to ourselves and Gwent Parent Carer Network. As with all of these initiatives, if they aren’t used they won’t be funded in the future so please share the word and let’s start making our libraries more accessible for all.
Ready Steady Go will be supporting each session with a member of our support staff – on hand to help families wherever needed
